I am passionate about supporting the American Cancer Society because I believe in the power of community and the importance of compassion in the fight against cancer. As someone who has witnessed the devastating impact of this disease, I am dedicated to raising funds and awareness to support research, provide essential services to patients, and promote cancer prevention and early detection.

Cancer touches all of us in some way, and together, we can make a difference. Whether it’s through funding groundbreaking research, offering rides to treatment, or providing a listening ear through 24/7 helplines, the American Cancer Society works tirelessly to improve the lives of those affected by cancer. Your support can help us continue these vital efforts and bring us closer to a world without cancer.

Join me in this mission. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to breakthroughs that save lives and provide hope. Together, we can create a future where cancer is no longer a fearsome word, but a conquered foe. Our efforts can save lives! Thank you for your generosity and support.

My name is Joseph Stevens, and I am a dedicated volunteer for the American Cancer Society, working with Fork Cancer Pensacola to support cancer research and raise awareness.

After watching family members battle cancer, I became passionate in supporting cancer research and helping those impacted by the disease. During my 4 years as an undergraduate, I am proud to have helped raise over $15,000 for cancer research. Since graduating I have had a desire to continue to help raise support and awareness for research, so I volunteered at last year’s Fork Cancer event. I am proud to be a part of an organization that cares for people during this challenge. No one should have to fight this battle alone, and I am happy to help in any way possible.

I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and also earned a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of West Florida. I am currently an Asset Manager with Sunchase Companies. We help provide affordable housing across multiple counties. I enjoy helping the community I grew up in and want to give back as much as possible.

Cancer has affected so many people I know and love that it’s inspired me to join with the American Cancer Society. I’m participating to inspire hope for those facing cancer and raising money to help end cancer as we know it, for everyone.

Cancer has affected so many people I know and love that it’s inspired me to join with the American Cancer Society. I’m participating to inspire hope for those facing cancer and raising money to help end cancer as we know it, for everyone.

The funds I’m raising will sustain critical research and provide services for people trying to cope with their cancer experience. Believe me, every dollar really does count, so I’m asking you to please donate today. Together, we can make a big difference in the fight against cancer.

My name is Drew Ayres, and I am an Engineering Leader at Florida Power & Light (FPL), where I oversee the direction and outcomes of major construction projects in FPL’s North Region. With a degree in Civil Engineering from UAB and an MBA from Auburn University, I use my expertise to assist the team in serving customers across the Panhandle with their new service projects.

In an effort to bring hope for a world with less cancer and more birthdays, I’m participating in this year’s Fork Cancer Pensacola event. The event, which benefits the American Cancer Society, aims to raise funds and awareness for critical research and support services for individuals affected by cancer. Cancer has touched the lives of many people that I know and love, including my 33-year-old brother-in-law who is currently battling this disease. Witnessing his strength and determination has inspired me to make a difference in the fight against cancer. By donating, you can join forces with me and countless others in making a significant impact in the fight against cancer. Together, we can bring us one step closer to finding a cure and providing support for those in need.
