Fork Cancer Pensacola will take place on Friday, April 4, 2025, at Supposey Warehouse and Garden. The evening brings together the best of Pensacola’s vibrant food, cocktail, and entertainment scene under one roof to benefit the American Cancer Society. We also recognize and celebrate the fundraising efforts of our Tastemakers – a group of Pensacola’s emerging leaders.
On behalf of the GenNow Network Pensacola Chapter, I want to thank you for making our First Annual Fork Cancer Pensacola a huge success by raising over $85,000 for the American Cancer Society Mission.
The Pensacola Fork Cancer Board is a leadership group of Pensacola’s best and brightest emerging leaders dedicated to leading our community in the fight against cancer. Our dedication, along with your generous support, is pivotal to fulfilling our mission to support local cancer education, advocacy, research, and patient services. The young professionals leading Fork Cancer have done an extraordinary job creating an event that is gratifying and for a great cause.
We will be hosting our event on Friday, April 4, 2025. We would love for you to join us for our Fork Cancer Pensacola event coming this year. Your support will make a meaningful difference and assist us in our mission to end cancer as we know it, for everyone.
LeadershipThe American Cancer Society provides information and resources to help patients and their loved ones manage through cancer treatment and recovery, and to help with the emotional support they need. They also work to remove barriers that stand between the patient and lifesaving treatment. For many patients with cancer, transportation challenges can create barriers to receive the treatment they need. Many people need daily or weekly treatment, often for several months. Family and friends may help, but they may not always have the time or resources to provide every ride. The American Cancer Society is proud to provide transportation assistance to those in need, by giving free rides to cancer-related medical appointments.
In 2022 alone, the American Cancer Society provided more than 323,000 rides to more than 35,000 patients in need through transportation programs.
